Alice was born in August, 1979 in Bollate, a small city near Milan.

In 1988 she obtained her Diploma of Art and Graphic high school.

During those five years of studying she attended various courses dealing with photography, theatre and cinema; she also realised lots of shows and performances of short film-shootings taking the first prize of the contests.

In 1997 she had the honour to interpret herself in a documentary film by Silvio Soldini about young people.

In 1998 she published an illustration work at the “Bologna Book Exhibition”. From 1998 to 2004 she took place in a large number of art shows situated in “Accademia di Belle Arti in Brera”, “Permanente” in Milan, “Fiera Campionaria” in Milan and private galleries. In 1999 she collaborated together with the artist Nino Mustica.

From 2000 to 2004 she worked for RCS and Mondadori as professional Decorator between Italy and France. In 2004 she graduated in  Decorative Art at Accademia delle Belle Arti in Brera ( the title of her thesis was “Profumo come Arte” – Perfume as Art).

As a child, till the age of 16, she practiced rhythmical and artistic gymnastics at an agonistical level.

From 1988 to 2000 she studied Teathre-Dance, Afro-Dance and African percussions in a self-managed company. They realised lots of shows till they got interested in Caribbean Dances during a trip to Brasil.

In 2001 Alice Nuar approached to Bellydance attending the Club Magica in Milan, first belly dancing school in Italy, and here she got on various branches such as Polynesian Dances, Darbouka rhythmics, Celtic Arp and Celtic Bellydance..

She took part in Club Magica ending-year shows in Teatro Carcano (Milan) and in 2005 she entered the group of teachers in Club Magica.

In 2004 she definetly started the activity of professional dancer and teacher.

During all these years she attended and she still attends some workshops with the most important teachers and choreographers from Italy and abroad.

In 2004 she became a component of “Rose del Deserto”, a known Oriental dancing company of Milan.

She appeared various times in TV shows such as “Ballo in Piazza”, “Festa in Piazza” where she performed bellydance choreographies, and then in “La Fattoria” and “Le Iene” with Le Rose del Deserto.

In June 2006 she performed with Le Rose del Deserto and Rachel Brice as a guest star in the show “Sabbia e Seta” at Teatro delle Erbe in Milan. It was a real success due also to the tenor voice of Carlos de Antonis and Walid Hussein and Mohamed Antr at the percussions.

In May 2007 Alice Nuar won the Oriental Dances regional contest as soloists of A Class; her students got the first prize as big group category of B Class.

In July she was the fourth soloist of A Class at the Oriental Dances National Championship, where she was admired for her particular elegance and innovative style.

She later decided not to take place to contests anymore because she didn’t feel free to dance in such a competitive climate.

Since 2007 she took part every year at the Ballo del Doge of Venice Carnival in Palazzo Pisani Moretta organized by Atonia Sautter.

Alice Nuar is the creator of  “Cerchio Magico”, an imaginative world where dancers can express theirselves and their attitudes in a total freedom.

They get to organise “Danzando nel bosco”, a display of dances from around the world with workshops and shows, whose gainings is devolved partly to WWF Oasi of Vanzago and partly to other animal rights associations.

In August 2007 Cerchio Magico and Al-Kimyia Group, danzatrici di Iside, le Rose del Deserto and the choreographer Wael Mansour gave life to a theatral Oriental Dancing company: unic in its genre thanks to its dancers from the most famous dancing companies of Italy and its choreographies.

Wael mansour’s company danced at Capri Rolex Cup with tribal jazz band TriAd Vibration and during the Dance Congress of Riccione in June 2008. Here Alice and Al-Kimyia went on the stage of this festival with Sharon Kihara.

In June 2009, moved from the desire of transmitting union and complicity beyond forms and styles, Cerchio Magico and other dancing companies created the theatre show “I Mille Volti della Dea”.

Every year Cerchio Magico Club association stage a show with its students to reach harmony and to have fun.

From the meeting with Rachel Brice she felt like deepening Fusion technique; so Alice Nuar decided to study this technique with its creator: Suhaila Salimpour. In 2009 she obtained Diploma Level 1 at Shuaila Salimpour School of Bellydance.

In 2009 she chose to take classical dancing lessons in order to have more mastery and control of her body and balance. She then interpreted the classical raqs sharqi of Wael Mansour, with whom she collaborated to the realisation of his first Oriental dance DVD.

Having spent all these years studying the different styles of Bellydance, from Raqs Sharqi to Tribal, from Balady to Modern Oriental, in her courses she is committed to spread Fusion technique which allows to deepen the awareness of our body and to reach always higher levels of autonomy in Dance.
