Yzza

Yzza was born and grew up in France. Since an early age she has been exposed to the art of dance and music in her family environment.

She started her dance training at the age of six with ballet. She has always felt a special attraction to dancing and that’s why she studied various styles including modern, jazz, African dance, salsa, hip hop…

It’s when she started Middle Eastern dance that she really found a way to express herself and it quickly became a passion.

Most of her formation was in France with teacher Farida Seidi, but she also completed her learning with internationally renowned professors like Momo Kadous, Gamal Seif, Randa Kamel, Hadia, Raquia Hassan, Amir Thaleb and others in France and in Egypt.

In July 2008 she was invited to perform for the closing gala of the “Ahlan wa Sahlan festival” in Cairo by Raquia Hassan, after winning a competition in her native country, France.

Now she is honored to be part of the toronto based Arabesque Dance Company, as well as a teacher of the Arabesque Academy.
